L'Histoire De Moi is a boutique creative agency located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We exist to help entrepreneurs and small businesses authentically communicate their story and be consistent with their brand.
We believe that a client's story is their power.
And our mission is to immerse ourselves in that story, and use it to build trust with future clients.
Here's a bit about our story:
De Moi Branding was established in 2024. It emerged from of a photography studio in the area.
I (Britta) was having a hard time because I felt like I could only tell half of a story. I absolutely love being behind the camera and to be creative. I love stepping back and really letting people shine through creating a safe space for people to be themselves. But honestly, I wanted even more! I wanted to be able to create a consistent brand story and message from start to finish for the humans that I was working with.
At the same time, I started to realize that there are some incredibly talented women out there. I found copy writers, stylists, storytellers and creatives. I started thinking about what would happen if we brought all these creative, badass professional women together to create the entire branding story for our clients - together.
Collaboration is the most powerful form of creativity!
So that's what we did. At L'Histoire De Moi, you will find a collection of the most passionate, professional and creative women out there. We aren't here for seeing the most clients. We show up to be creative and to be a part of the process - your process.

Collaboration - as co-collaborators with you in your story telling journey, we commit to listening to you and understanding you. We spend quality time with you before we begin to ask you questions and to understand what you are looking for with our services. We value putting your criteria and desires above all else. We want you to feel in control without feeling the intense workload. This also goes for the work we do for you and the cost. We might suggest but we don't push. And if some part of the project might go over budget, we communicate way beforehand so you can make the best decisions for your team. In this collaboration, we don't ever seek to take advantage of you or to push you to use any of our services. Collaboration is built on consent.
Consistency - we deliver excellent results every time. We are dependable because we choose to stay small. We value human interaction and quality over growing an empire, and we value supporting our creative team over answering to stockholders and cutting the bottom line to make profit. This also means that when we decide the cost of our services, it's based on what keeps our business afloat and what honors our employees.
Aesthetic - as we said before, we are a collective of creatives. Communication isn't just words - we find it in actions, choices, and aesthetic. Communication is our story. Therefore, our focus is your aesthetic. We commit to doing everything we can to help your brand have its best possible story. Not only do we show up with our own aesthetic and stay true to that, but we also step out of the way to see yours. We see you, and we want you to shine.
Working With Us
As a boutique agency, we build custom plans just for you. An experience that a business or individual has with us is as unique as the person or people themselves.
When you reach out to De Moi Branding, our first step is to have a 30 minute consultation call. I ask a series of questions related to what you might need and what your budget might look like. This is a great time to talk about your max budget and the essentials of what need to get done for you. It's also a great time to talk about your dreams and what you see in the future for your business.
From the data I collect in this convo, I create a proposal for you based on two things: Your needs and your budget.
The next step is to have a zoom or in person conversation to go over the proposal I made for you. It will have LOTS of options, and three main ideas of what I think we can achieve. They will either have different price days or different offerings from us. You can also choose any add ons at this point, or to customize any of the options you choose.
