I love story. But not just any story, the ones that make us just a little better as humans because we've heard them. My favorite stories? My mom, who because the founding editor of The Lake Country Journal with 3 young kids! My friend, who was obsessed with the chemical change that happens in food as it's being cooked - who went on to become a respected chemistry professeur. My grandpa, who changed my life with his kindness and big ideas. 

And I can't wait for the stories I haven't heard yet. 

My story is that I am an story explorer and discoverer. I ask questions and create safe spaces to hear the answers. 

I create safe spaces to be seen and to really see people. So if you end up working with me, you're story is safe. Because I want you to be seen for who you are. 

My motivation in life is hope. Hope that we can make a difference in this world. Hope to reduce suffering. Hope to be seen and to see people. 

And that's why I spend so much time with a lens.

Once upon a time, I read The BFG.

I’ve been playing with words ever since.

What lights my fire? The magic of collaboration, making up new words whenever possible, writing pages and pages of copy in search of the perfect line, and asking “what if?”

I have an editing background, but hold my tongue if someone says “less” when they mean “fewer.”

I’m passionate about sustainability and believe the best thing we can do to change the world is talk about it. And some of my favorite people speak Latvian, so I nerd out about declining nouns in my spare time.
